Leonetti 1953

The typical Silan cuisine in Camigliatello

From Leonetti 1953, to Camigliatello Silano, Spezzano della Sila (CS), the table becomes an authentic journey through the flavors of the Calabrian mountains. The typical Silana cuisine is based on local ingredients: porcini mushrooms collected in the Sila National Park, IGP Sila potatoes, podolica meat, cold cuts and artisanal cheeses processed according to handed down recipes. Every dish stems from this precise choice: no improvisation, only genuine products and a gastronomic tradition that has not ceased to be told since 1953.

The Calabrian territory right from the start

From Leonetti 1953 we started with Silan whimsy: bruschetta with local products, traditional meatballs and rich platters of Calabrian cold cuts and cheeses such as capocollo, 'nduja, soppressata and caciocavallo silano, served with artisanal bread. Every appetizer is designed to tell the story of Sila even before the first courses: selected raw materials, local recipes and no concession to standardization.
